The little white dress (L.W.D.) is the one thing you need to have in your wardrobe this summer. In my case, I feel like I can’t have enough of them. In the last few years we have seen a lot of chiffons as the fabric of choice, but I am glad to see that this year we are using heavier fabrics such as cotton and linen. I love to pair my whites with navy or tan and lots of gold jewelry. White is like a breath of fresh air and I always feel clean and chic wearing it.
Today I am wearing a 100% cotton dress from Asos with short sleeves and a button front. It is breathable, cool and perfect for running errands on a hot day. I chose to pair the dress with tan slides from Louis Vuitton and a circle straw bag from Urban Outfitters.

It’s so warm, you would think its summer already; even though summer doesn’t officially start until the 21st of June. Warm weather and sunshine makes me really happy (I wonder if this is because I am an island girl)! Anyways, I have started making a list of all the things I want to do this summer and I have decided to share them with you.
1. Beach Picnic
2. Make lemonade (my favorite childhood drink)
3. Attend a fourth of July BBQ (one day I will have enough space to host my own)
4. Visit Sarasota or Destin (because the beaches are to die for)
5. Go to a water park (I have wanted to check out Volcano Bay for a while now)
6. Make s'mores (totally planning to order this)
7. Go on a vacation (the destination changes weekly)
8. Make an Instagram-worthy summer cocktail
9. Host an outdoor dinner party (just because)
10. Have one extravagant date night

Hey Guys,
As the days get warmer, I dream about spending more time outdoors. There are tons of activities to be done outside and I am here for all of it. I decided I needed a picnic to cure my outdoor itch; somewhere cool and preferably by a lake. So I called my fellow blogger Kelly, who is almost always up for anything fun and girly, and said “Lets have a picnic” and she said “Sure! I have a basket” and the rest was history.......or, so we thought.
On a more positive note, this was an easy outing to throw together without much thought. I grabbed my basket from my entryway to store the pitcher and champagne glasses. I swung by the supermarket and grabbed a bottle of champagne, a cheese platter and some fruits. That was all done the morning of. Kelly provided all of the décor elements, which she already had at home; easy-peasy. :)

Hey Guys,
I never really follow trends when it comes on to fashion. I am more of that girl that stays true to her own personal style no matter what others may seem to think. Once in a while, however, there is a trend that comes along that rocks my world. For me, that trend is the ‘Off The Shoulder’ and I am soooooooo in love with this style that I don’t know what to do with myself. Needless to say, I must apologize to you guys for how many off-the-shoulder looks you may see on my blog and instagram going forward, lol…………. ok, ok……. I will try not to overdo it but it might be hard.
