It’s clear to me that snake prints are going to be one of the fall’s biggest trends, if it isn’t already. You can’t open Instagram without seeing snakeskin prints plastered all over your favorite bloggers and can you blame them? All of the major fast-fashion retailers such as Zara, Topshop, and Missguided are all carrying this trend in abundance.
For more inspiration check out this pinterest board!
Comment below and let me know if you have noticed any other fashion trends that have come back around for this season.

This week, I went out to take pics for St. Patrick’s Day and, then, it dawned on me………. I really don’t know much about this holiday. I went home and did a little research; so, here are 5 things you (like me) probably didn’t know about St. Patrick’s Day.
1. Saint Patrick was British
It is said that St. Patrick was born in what is now England, Scotland or Wales. Irish raiders enslaved him at the age of 16, took him to Ireland and held him captive for six years.
2. The Shamrocks
Legend has it that St. Patrick used the shamrock to illustrate the doctrine of the holy trinity (The Son, The Father & The Holy Spirit).
3. We should wear blue
Historians say that the color that was mostly associated with St. Patrick is blue. It is a very light blue called “Saint Patrick’s blue”. So, where did the green come from? Honestly, I am not sure. There are several different reasons, such as:
· Green is one of the three colors in the Irish flag.
· Ireland is known as the "Emerald Isle” because of its lush, green landscape.
· Green was also used when supporters of Irish independence used the color to represent their cause.
· Green is the color of the shamrock.
It’s safe to say that, if you don’t wear green, leprechauns might just pinch you. I guess you can pick the explanation you like best.
4. Corned Beef and Cabbage
The traditional meat eaten on St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland turns out to be Irish bacon and not corned beef. Irish immigrants to the United States used corned beef, the cheaper alternative at the time, as a substitute. They learnt about this, as a replacement, from Jewish immigrants.
Side note, I totally plan to cook Jamaican corned beef with cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day.
5. The Chicago River turns green
Every year, since 1962, the city turns the river green by dumping 40 tons of dye into it.

Hey Guys,
I am pretty sure that I can classify my love for Target as a mild obsession. Target is one of those stores that I am always running into. Usually, if I am out running errands before I head home from work, I will make a quick stop at Target for something; if I am home bored, I’ll probably make a run to Target just to browse the aisles. The bad thing for me is that this store always wins in the end! I will go there to pick up one solitary item, and $100 later, I am wondering what the hell I bought!
We all know that Target is one of those stores that have a little bit of everything. I’ll go there for bi-weekly groceries and end up leaving with clothes, shoes and home décor bits and bobs. Lately, they have had really good home décor pieces. Anyways… Follow me for a casual stroll around the store and let’s see what catches my eyes and, maybe, yours!
As for my outfit, I love white pieces for spring and summer. A white shirt is always classy in my eyes. This season, I’ve had a thing for distressed jeans. This specific pair, I love, just for the simple fact that it has distressing without showing any skin. This makes it appropriate in almost any situation.

Hey Guys,
I can’t believe the Christmas season has basically come to an end. I am so saddened by this. Maybe it’s because of all the time spent decorating the house just so it could be perfect for my guests’ arrival. But, just like that, the time has come and gone and they are getting ready to leave. I had a full house this Christmas and it’s kinda depressing to know that by Saturday it will be empty and I will be going back to reality. It was really, really fun while it lasted though. I definitely enjoyed every bit of this Christmas holiday.
Anyways guys; today I share with you an outfit I wore last week. This pink sweater was the best sweater I purchased this season. I am so in love with it!

Hey Guys,
Decorating for Christmas has always been one of my favorite things to do. I usually start by picking a color scheme, theme and then begin working from there.
This year I really wanted to create a winter wonderland but I think it turned out to be more of a neutral theme than winter-white. I chose to use a lot of white, gold and silver ornaments and some neutral tones (such as cream and beige) to help tie in my existing décor. I picked up most of the items I used from Joann, Michaels and Target.
I will try to link all the things I think you will need to recreate this look in your home below; only if that’s something you are interested in doing, of course. Enjoy the pictures I am sharing of my home today and please let me know in the comments below if you have decorated for Christmas and what color scheme/theme you went with.

Spoiler Alert! I have spoken about this brand before on the blog. I believe they have the absolute best cover-ups and every time I think about making a statement at the beach or at the pool, I think about JaeJolly. There is something to be said about the colors and designs that are always so flattering. So, when I got invited to the Style Collective pool party last weekend it was a no brainer; obviously I was wearing JaeJolly. I styled her beautiful cover up with a black swimsuit and my Cult Gaia Bamboo bag that I recently added to my collection.
Share you favorite swimwear brand in the comments below.

Hey Guys,
Today is my 6-year anniversary with my lovely husband Jason. In honor of that, I thought this would be a great time to share my thoughts on having a supportive spouse/significant other. Don’t worry guys, I am not trying to push some fairytale ideology as I don’t believe in them. However, I do believe that it is important to have someone in your corner that will support all that you want to achieve in life. Jason has been very instrumental to all my crazy and not-so-crazy ideas. I have a very creative mind and, as such, my thoughts are always busy. I have gone through many different phases in life; from handbag designer to online shop owner to blogger to sticker maker… and the list could go on, but you get the picture.
In all my madness, I know Jason will be right there beside me. Yes, he is going to tell me I am crazy at first but then he will help me assemble the pieces of whatever puzzle I am working on. He takes all the pictures for my blog and attends most of my blogger events if I need him to, even if he really doesn’t want to. Why? He believes in my dreams just as much as I do. With this post, I say thank you to my Camera Man/Assistant Sticker Maker/ Real Estate Office Assistant and, last but not least, my Husband.
Happy Anniversary Babe!
Remember Guys “team work makes the dream work” so find someone in your life that’s willing to support your dreams.
