Hey Guys,

A couple weeks ago I was checking out the new arrivals at the Loft and came across a field jacket that’s not even in a color I would normally consider buying. I decided, however, to give it a try just for sh*ts and giggles. I didn't anticipate loving the jacket so much! The fit and the color were awesome and it just had to be mine.

That Jacket is the inspiration for today’s blog post. So without further ado, here are five (5) jackets I am loving for the fall season

The Field Jacket:
A lightweight field jacket is perfect for florida weather. Even without it being the fall season, it is often times chilly outside at night or inside most establishments. This is the best jacket to always carry around just in case you need to take that annoying chill off your shoulders.

The Leather Jacket:
I don’t think there is much to say about this one. It is a staple and adds a little edge to any outfit.

The Teddy Jacket:
This one is definitely a new trend. Just like the Teddy Coat that became very popular last year, the Teddy Jacket is the same concept but in a bomber jacket style.

The Aviator Jacket:
I have seen this jacket done and redone over the last several years but, recently, it has made its way onto my radar. I am considering picking up this one from Zara.

The Parka:
This jacket is an old favorite for me. It was one of the very first jackets I bought when I moved to the USA. I bought mine from Banana Republic and I still wear it year-after-year.

Hey Guys,

It’s Fall!!!! This is my absolute favorite time of the year because of three main reasons. Firstly, the fashion (in my opinion) is much better. Secondly, there is pumpkin-everything everywhere. Thirdly, and most importantly, it is supposed to be cooler. As it stands, however, I live in Florida where it’s still 93 degrees outside; such a bummer! I have been trying to transition my summer wardrobe and incorporate more fall pieces, while still trying to stay cool. Otherwise, I would probably cook myself wearing a jacket outside in this heat.

Here are a few tips and tricks to help you transition your wardrobe when it is still hot AF:
1. Swap out your sandals for boots or closed-toe shoes
2. Wear cool fabrics in darker colors
3. Add a lightweight scarf to your outfit

If you have any additional fall tips and tricks, feel free to leave a comment below.
